Eastern red cedar (aka aromatic cedar) turning blanks are excellent for use on wood turning lathes with a mix of red and white grain that blends beautifully in any project. Our premium blanks come with assurance that there will be minimal knots and cracking.
Cedar doesn't check or crack much relative to other wood species. Our turning blanks are dried to around 10% moisture content and the ends are sealed during the drying process to further ensure that you won't have to worry about your project cracking after turning it.
